Maple & Sriracha Glazed Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

350g Brussel Sprouts, trimmed & halved 

1/3 cup/80ml Vegetable Oil 

4 tbs Cornflour/Cornstarch

Glaze 

5 tbs Maple Syrup

3 tbs Sriracha Sauce 

1 tbs Soy Sauce 

1/2 tsp Onion Granules 

1/2 tsp Garlic Granules

Method

Steam or boil the sprouts until just cooked. This should take 4-5 minutes. Once cooked remove them from the pan & allow to dry off.

Meanwhile in a large mixing bowl toss together the glaze ingredients.

Toss the sprouts in the cornflour so they’re lightly coated.

Place a wok or large frying pan over a medium heat and add the oil. When the oil is hot add the sprouts. Allow them to fry until they’re crispy & golden. Then add the sauce & toss for 2-3 minute until sprout has been glazed. 

Serve right away. Topped with crushed peanuts.
