This burger is a healthy twist on my ‘fish’ & chips recipe which was a big hit on youtube. The ‘fish’ element is gluten free & cooked with out using any oil. It can be served with salad or in a gluten free bun. Make sure you have a go at the tartar sauce too!


Tofu ‘fish’ 

1 Firm Block Tofu, drained & cut into 4 steaks.

2 Nori Sheets

4 tbs Gluten Free Flour

6 tbs Chickpea Flour

1 cup/50g Chickpea Crumbs 

Tartare Sauce

1 cup/250g Vegan Mayo

3 tbs Capers, drained & roughly chopped

3 tbs Gherkins, drained & roughly chopped

1 small Shallot, finely chopped

1 tbs Fresh Lemon Juice

3 tbs Chopped Fresh Parsley

Pinch Sea Salt & Pepper
